Tonight the husband cooked a delicious pasta for me and two friends who came over for dinner. A delicious garlic, chilli, olives and chorizo concoction. He used this recipe Da Orazio’s Quick Linguini alla Puttanesca but exchanged the anchovies for chorizos. I know it’s not really an adequate replacement but we were just a bit unsure about anchovies!
I made one of our favourite salads: rocket, apple and fennel with lemon and apple cider vinegar dressing. 3Tbs olive oil + 2.5Tbs apple cider vinegar + 2tsp lemon juice + salt + pepper.
Finished off with a Gaynetto for dessert and some Europe holiday planning… a great Saturday night in!
